A visit to Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire. Kedleston Road, near Quarndon, Derby, Derbyshire DE22 5JH

Meet at 11.00 am

Kedleston Hall is described as an extravagant temple to the arts and was designed by architect Robert Adam. It sits in vast parkland and has opulent interiors. The hall displays an extensive art collection, including paintings and sculptures, and with much of the original furnishings still in place.

PLEASE NOTE: This trip is dependant on the weather, and for Lorraine to be able to travel to the venue.

Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Park ▼

A visit to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Park, Ripon. Yorkshire. HG4 3DY.

This is a World Heritage site with ancient abbey ruins and an awe-inspiring water garden. There is also a church, and a deer park. Some guided tours are available throughout the day.

This is a National Trust site so entry is free to members.
